Angela her husband are enthusiastic farmers and were very interested in making manure and in experimenting with growing new crops. Angela has seen many changes in her household since joining the project, including major improvements to food security despite several poor growing seasons. The biggest change noted by Angela, however, is the improvement in her relationship with her husband. They now work together at home and in the field. When he first began helping, his neighbours would laugh at him and make fun of him “Those who were laughing don’t laugh anymore when they see us doing these practices since they have seen the results”
