Objective 1: Documenting Perceptions of Climate Change
We have carried out a survey of 800 households in Kasungu and Ekwendeni in May 2010 to assess climate change perceptions of smallholder farming households. We are currently analysing this data set. We have also conducted semi-structured interviews and focus groups in both sites to get an in-depth understanding and insight into peoples’ perceptions of climate change. A summary of our qualitative findings to date is to be posted on a ‘reports’ page. We hope to post a summary of the survey results by July 2012.
